*WARNING* If you are not a Christian, you might find this offensive...in which i apologize but i really want to voice my opinion. If you find this offensive, DO NOT comment in this in any offensive manner. Nobody is waving this in your face MAKING you read this. If you want to voice your opinions, you have a journal too. I'm not trying to stab at anyone with this, I'm merely stating my opinions and I ask that you respect that because i'm respecting your beliefs and opinions in not trying to force my beliefs down your throat (if i was i would write you wall comments all the live long day about your beliefs).




okay...so I just feel like venting to the world and ranting about one of my biggest annoyances during the holiday season...

unless you don't already know, i'm a very religious person and take my Christian beliefs seriously...its not just some religion...its a lifestyle...its a relationship with the Almighty God and Christ who saves us.

with that said, it really annoys and sickens me how the world tries to take Christ out of Christmas...not ONLY by the name calling it X-mas (where the crap does the X come from anyways except to scratch out Christ from His own holiday) but by how the world tries to distract everyone from the ORIGINAL purpose of the holiday with all of the presents and santa claus and what-have-you. now, im not downing presents calling them bad and saying dont give them, but everyone has made the holiday just about presents/family/helping the needy that they've forgotten that the holiday is CHRISTmas, not PRESENTmas or FAMILYmas or CHARITYmas

its alot like the 4th of July...nobody celebrates it as Independence day anymore...its just the 4th of July...some day for fireworks and barbecue. nobody cares that it has to do with america gaining its independence to become the nation we are anymore.

How would you like it if everybody loved your birthday and was so ready for it to get here...but not because of you, nothing to do with you...they could care less about you...they only want some party and then the next day you're a nobody again. you're nothing.

Thats about it. I'm sick of the world's view of Christmas and it was about what it was originally supposed to be.
